Handcuffed escapee turns himself in

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) – A man who escaped the custody of Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies while handcuffed turned himself in on Thursday.

Adaberto Olivieri-Perez was arrested in Niagara Falls on a felony drug warrant on Tuesday. After being handcuffed and placed in a deputy’s patrol car, authorities say he somehow managed to escape.

On Thursday, the wanted man turned himself in at the Niagara County Courthouse. He is being held without bail.
