BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Vincent Lecavalier scored with 14.8 seconds to go, sending the Sabres to their first home loss in regulation in nine games, 4-3.

The game-winner seemed to be a fitting end, to a third-period flurry of goals that saw the lead change hands multiple times.

Matt D’Agostini scored on a diving effort, off a feed from Steve Ott, to give Buffalo a 2-1 lead in the third period.

Philadelphia answered on a Brayden Schenn goal, then followed it up with a Scott Hartnell power play strike to take a 3-2 lead.

Buffalo answered on a Tyler Ennis goal, before Lecavalier sent the crowd home unhappy.

The Sabres won’t have much time to dwell on this one, playing on the road at Toronto tomorrow night at 7:30pm.
