Teen broke into vehicles over past year

OAKFIELD, N.Y. (WIVB) – Deputies say an 18-year-old man has been stealing items from vehicles during the overnight hours since January of last year.

Dalton Long of Caledonia was arrested Friday and charged with breaking into vehicles in Oakfield over the past year. He is charged with fourth degree grand larceny, fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property, second degree identity theft, petit larceny, and six counts of criminal possession of stolen property.

After being arraigned, Long was taken to the Genesee County Jail on $15,000 bail.
