Bisons drop four straight

BUFFALO, NY (WIVB.com) – The Bisons now sit 4.5 games behind the Pawsox for the wildcard spot. They lost to Lehigh Valley 5-1 at home on Thursday. Mike Nickeas scored the lone run for the Bisons in the fifth inning on Ricardo Nanita’s sacrifice fly to center.

The Bisons were without infielder Ryan Goins, who was recalled by the Toronto Blue Jays. Goins played 111 games with the Bisons this season. He started 99 of those 111 games at shortstop and made just nine errors. He also had six homeruns and 46 RBI.
