ECMC unveils new surgical center

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Erie County Medical Center opened up its brand new operating rooms for the public to take a look Monday afternoon.

The surgical center includes two new state-of-the-art operating suites with recovery and surgical service space. The 25,000-square foot center also has two rooms ready for possible future expansion.

The center will help doctors handle a recent surge in surgeries in recent years, including orthopedics, head, neck and breast cancer surgery.
