Higgins opposes Asian trade agreement

Congressman Brian Higgins is joining the fight to stop a trade agreement with several Asian countries, including Vietnam.

The South Buffalo Democrat says the Trans Pacific Partnership would allow international trade panels to overturn existing American laws. Higgins also says congressional leaders are trying to push the law through without any amendments.

He met with unions and consumer groups at the Center for Economic Justice in Buffalo on Wednesday.
