Local lax player traded to Bandits

BUFFALO,NY (WIVB) – The Buffalo Bandits made a trade at the 2013 NLL Entry Draft that brings local lacrosse star Joe Resetarits to the Bandits.

The team traded the 10th overall selection in the draft, and a 2015 2nd round pick to the Calgary Roughnecks for Resetarits and the 15th overall pick in this year’s draft (Mitch Wilde, Robert Morris).

Resetarits appeared in 14 games for Calagry during his rookie season last year and scored 8 goals along with 16 assists.  He starred at Hamburg High School before playing collegiately at Albany University.

“We wanted to address some offense,” said Bandits General Manager Steve Dietrich. “Bringing Joe back home, a first round pick last year, helps (with that).”
