A former bookkeeper who stole a fortune from a construction company is headed to prison.
Debora Gramza will spend two- to seven-years behind bars. The 55-year-old woman pleaded guilty to grand larceny and falsifying business records. Wednesday, her former boss said he had to get a new mortgage after paying his house off in order to fix the damage Gramza had done.
Paul Marinaccio, Sr. asked the judge, “I’m begging you, send her to the damn max and send a message to these crooks. I’m begging you. Thank you.”
Gramza stole more than $700,000 from Accadia Site Contracting in Depew by forging checks.
