UB drills N. Illinois in MAC opener

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) – UB scored the first 16 points and never looked back, beating Northern Illinois 67-46 Wednesday night in the MAC opener for both teams.

The win improves the Bulls to 7-4 on the season, 1-0 in the conference.

Will Regan scored a team-high 15 points for the Bulls, followed up by Javon McCrea’s 14 points, 8 rebounds, 8 blocks, and 4 assists. The eight blocks tied a career high for McCrea.

The Bulls host Eastern Michigan Saturday at 2pm.
