Cops investigate overnight armed robbery

NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) – An overnight robbery in Niagara County may be connected to other recent robberies. Police say a man robbed a 7-Eleven at 1060 Niagara Falls Boulevard at 2:45 a.m.

A man showed a handgun before getting cash and running from the scene. This incident may be related to other robberies in Niagara County over the past few weeks. Police are working to determine this now. The other robberies began on Christmas Eve.

The public is asked to keep vigilant in and around local businesses.
