Man drives to police station drunk

Lewiston Police say a man charged with aggravated DWI last Friday drove to the station drunk Wednesday afternoon.

Officers arrested the 60-year-old man Friday afternoon shortly before 6 a.m. after a traffic stop on Mohawk Street and charged him with aggravated DWI after a breath test showed his BAC to be .29 percent.

Wednesday afternoon, the man reported to the police station for fingerprint processing. Officers say they quickly discovered he was drunk with a BAC of .08 percent. The man was again arrested for DWI.
