Cops accuse man of fatal pedestrian crash

Buffalo Police say a pedestrian has passed away more than two months after a crash on Buffalo’s east side. Days after her passing, police made an arrest in the case.

Police say 28-year-old Alfred E. Long Jr. was driving a vehicle that jumped a curb and struck 64-year-old Sallie M. Davis. The accident happened on November 5th at East Ferry and Ernst Avenue.

Davis passed away Monday at Erie County Medical Center. Police say Long is charged with vehicular manslaughter and driving while ability impaired by drugs.
