Stolen credit cards found in luggage

A woman from Tampa, FL was arrested Thursday at Buffalo Niagara International Airport when TSA personnel say they found stolen credit cards in her checked suitcase.

Officials say while Lilibeth Lahitte’s luggage was being scanned prior to being placed on the plane, an alarm sounded. Inside her bag, agents say they found two stolen credit cards, $30,000 worth of gift cards, expensive jewelry and bottles of top shelf liquor.

NFTA Police arrested the 24-year-old woman on charges of second degree possession of a forged instrument.
