Woman, child involved in rollover crash

Tom Muscarella is Chairman of the 2009 Taste of Buffalo. We caught up with him tending to any one of a thousand details he will tackle during this long weekend. Believe it or not, his day job is with the Erie County Health Department as Senior Public Health Sanitarian. Seems like the right man for this mission!

A Fredonia woman and a one-year-old child were inside a vehicle during a rollover crash Friday morning. The Chautauqua County Sheriffs’ Office say 28-year-old Lindsay Griffin was driving on Fredonia Stockton Road when she lost control of her vehicle. Police say the vehicle went into a ditch and rolled onto its roof.

Griffin was taken by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The child inside the vehicle was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

There is no word on what caused the crash, or whether any charges will be filed.
