Flawless Fleury shuts out Sabres

Marc-Andre Fleury stopped all 24 shots he faced, posting his fourth shutout of the season in the Penguins’ 3-0 win over the Sabres Monday night.

It marks the seventh time this season, the Sabres failed to score in a game.

After a scoreless first period, Pittsburgh scored a pair in the second period. Chris Kunitz and Deryk Engelland gave the Pens a 2-0 lead. Tanner Glass added an empty-netter late to preserve the victory.

Ryan Miller stopped 31 of the 33 shots he faced in the loss. Buffalo hosts Washington Tuesday night at 7:30pm.
