Attempted armed robbery at Kwik Fill

The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted armed robbery at a Kwik Fill in Wheatfield. The incident took place on January 25th at 7:37 p.m. at 3945 Niagara Falls Boulevard.

The store clerk told police that a male entered the store, pointed a small handgun at him and demanded money. Nothing was reported missing from the gas station.

The man is described by the sheriff’s office as, possibly white, 5’5″ tall with a stocky build. He was wearing a red hoodie, dark winter hat, a dark bandana covering his face, black pants, dark gloves and dark colored boots.

This incident happened in the wake of several similar crimes in Niagara County.
