Man admits stealing from former employer

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB)- A Buffalo man admits stealing $160,000 worth of metal parts from Cole Tech Industries while he was working for them. The Erie County District Attorney’s Office says 34-year-old Albert Manns Jr. is facing a grand larceny charge.

Manns admitted that between January 1st, 2013 and October 24th, 2013 he stole the metal from the business he worked for on Broadway, in Cheektowaga. He then sold the metal to local scrap metal dealers.

The DA’s office reports he could face a maximum prison sentence of five to 15 years in state prison when he is sentenced in March. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
