Dinner to support Catholic education

Catholic education dinner

Supporters came together Thursday night, to help keep the dream of a Catholic education alive for hundreds of children across the region.

The 14th annual Making a Difference Dinner was held at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center. This is the Bishop Richard Malone’s second year celebrating Catholic Schools Week in the diocese. The dinner is the largest fundraiser for Catholic education here. About 1,200 guests attended.

This is a major fundraiser for Catholic schools and tuition assistance programs. All proceeds are used to fund needs-based tuition assistance for students attending Catholic elementary schools across western New York.

News 4’s Don Postles was proud to serve as emcee of the event.
