Jontay Walton needed just one point to become the Monsignor Martin Association’s all-time leading scorer tonight. She had 13, leading Cardinal O’Hara to a 64-41 win over Nardin.

With a bucket in the first quarter, Walton broke Raeann Stillwell’s record of 1,776 points. Walton finished the night with 1,789 career points.

Walton, who played most of her varsity career at Holy Angels before the school closed, set the record in familiar surroundings – tonight’s game was played at Holy Angels.
