Orchard Park Police say when they woke up a woman found slumped behind the wheel of her vehicle in the Rite Aid parking lot Thursday morning, she admitted drinking and taking prescription medications.

Officers were called to the pharmacy on Orchard Park Road shortly after 9 a.m., where they found 43-year-old Bonnie Colley of Cheektowaga asleep behind the wheel. She was disoriented upon waking and allegedly told officers she had been drinking the night before as well as Thursday morning and taking prescription medications.

Colley was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests and was taken for a blood test. She is facing charges of DWI and having an open container of beer in her center console.

She was released on $100 bail to a relative. Police say Colley may face additional charges.
