An accused drunk driver was found hiding in the woods overnight, after allegedly striking multiple mailboxes and a utility pole with his vehicle. The Erie County Sheriff’s Office say 41-year-old David A. Rubeck, of Angola, left the scene after his vehicle crashed on Gowanda State Road, in North Collins.
The sheriff’s office says they found Rubeck after a brief search. He was allegedly driving drunk while his license was revoked for a previous alcohol related offense. A breath test revealed an alleged .10 percent BAC.
Rubeck is facing several charges, among them are felony DWI and felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation.
