BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- CBS Sunday Morning served up our local favorite on a national plate. Correspondent Mo Rocca reported on wings in Buffalo, Sunday. He took a seat at a table with Buffalo backer Bernice Radle, Hall of Famer Thurman Thomas and entertainer Lance Diamond at  Anchor Bar.

Radle said, “I think it runs really deep. Just like the Bills, Sabres, wings are, it’s our signature food.  It’s what we are.  I’m wearing wing colored nail polish right now, chicken wing colored nail polish.”

While Rocca was in town, he also spent time learning about our 13th president, Millard Fillmore, who had a home in East Aurora. Rocca told News 4 western New York made an impression on him.
