BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A snow plow struck at least five cars early Sunday morning on Humboldt Parkway in Buffalo.
Police say the incident happened around 6:45 a.m., but it is still unclear if the plow was operated by the city or the county. Authorities say Humboldt Parkway is close to Rt. 198, which is plowed by the state.
The damage continued in a straight line, leaving dents, scratches and smashed headlights in its wake. There were also cars damaged on Eastwood Place.
The plow driver did not stop, leave a note, or contact police about the incident. But the yellow left on the vehicles made it unmistakable that they were damaged by a plow.
Buffalo Police spokesman Mike DeGeorge said authorities should be able to track down which plow is responsible and should have an answer soon.
