BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Two western New York teenagers are set to stand trial in the robbery and shooting death of a cab driver last year.

Jury selection is scheduled to begin in Buffalo Monday for the trial of Sean Austin and Maurice Howie. Howie was 17 and Austin 16 when they were arrested last spring.

Investigators say the two were part of a group of teenagers accused of taking part in a series of gunpoint robberies of pizza delivery and cab drivers that culminated in the shooting death of Mazen Abdallah in March.

Howie and Austin are charged with second-degree murder and robbery.

Two other teens are charged only with robbery and scheduled to stand trial in April.

All have pleaded not guilty in state Supreme Court.
