Who owns plow that damaged cars?

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- Some western New Yorkers are digging for answers after a snow plow hit parked cars along a Buffalo street. Car owners do not know who was driving the plow.

A city spokesperson says it does not appear a Buffalo plow is responsible. Buffalo Police are also using GPS and surveillance as they continue to investigate. The New York State Department of Transportation says some of their workers have been interviewed and plows have been inspected.

A plow hit several parked cars on Humboldt Parkway on Sunday, and News 4 has been looking for answers ever since. The driver didn’t leave any kind of note behind, but drivers showed News 4 the yellow paint that stuck to their cars when they were hit. Tail lights got knocked out and cars had scratches on them.

Lawyers say drivers should file a claim with whoever is responsible within 90 days. News 4 is working to confirm who the plow driver worked for.
