State lawmakers have a snow day

Wednesday is a snow day for lawmakers in Albany. The New York State Legislature has canceled its session Wednesday because of the winter storm.

Forecasters are predicting more than 20 inches of snow could hit parts of the capital region by the end of the day.

The large scope of this storm system is responsible for numerous delayed and cancelled flights and nearly all of NY will be dealing with snow covered roads through this evening. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
