City teens can sign up for internship program

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown will be calling on business owners Thursday to give teens a helping hand this summer. The mayor is kicking off the city’s 2014 Summer Youth Internship Program. It gives teens and young adults a chance to get first-hand work experience, and earn some money.

Young adults, between ages 14 and 21, can download an application at or pick one up at Buffalo City Hall in Room 1701. They must be handed in by May 30th.
