Three arrested after allegedly selling drugs to officers

Three people were taken into custody late Thursday afternoon after allegedly selling cocaine to a member of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force.

Authorities arrested 42-year-old Samuel Russo, 20-year-old Samuel Bundy, and 36-year-old Theresa Russo after an alleged drug deal took place in Jamestown on Winsor Street. All three are charged with third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

Russo was additionally charged with third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Authorities say he had an existing warrant out for his arrest.

Officers say inside their vehicle they found more cocaine as well as suboxone and a scale to weigh drugs.

All three are being held in the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment, after which they will be transported to the Chautauqua County Jail.
