Construction underway for Falls hotel

Construction is underway on a new $10 million hotel in Niagara Falls. The company Plati Niagara is building a new 110 room Wingate by Wyndham hotel.

When it’s complete, it will employ 15 full-time workers. In addition, it is estimated it will create an additional 20 retail and restaurant industry jobs.

Plati Niagara received a $980,000 incentive proposal from USA Niagara Development Corporation, a subsidiary of Empire State Development.

The project should wrap up by late spring of next year. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
