Driver pleads not guilty in crash with bicyclist

A man accused of driving drunk when he hit a bicyclist last April has pleaded not guilty.

Dana Boser was hit while riding his bike on Pennsylvania Road in the Town of Hinsdale and suffered serious physical injuries. The driver of the pickup that struck him, 24-year-old Charles Hopkins of Hinsdale, was arrested and charged with second degree assault, fourth degree criminal mischief, improper left turn, and DWI.
