A man who broke into a woman’s apartment and poured bleach all over her clothing has been arrested for burglary and other charges.

State Police say 34-year-old Marcus Walton violated an order of protection and broke into the Lockport woman’s home last Thursday, where he then poured bleach on her clothing, valued at around $500. Troopers say Walton also sent the victim multiple messages on Facebook in violation of the order or protection.

Walton was arrested last Friday and charged with second degree burglary, first degree criminal contempt, third degree criminal mischief, and second degree criminal contempt.

After being arraigned, he was taken to the Niagara County Jail on $50,000 bail.
