Before opening its doors to the public on Wednesday, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que held a premiere party Tuesday night to celebrate its first ever location in Buffalo.
Owner and co-founder John Stage says he found a perfect spot in the old Universal Storage facility on Franklin Street.
“I’ve been looking to come to Buffalo for the last 10 years. So we finally found a spot that fit it and here we are,” he said. “I don’t know, I just liked everything about it. I kind of fell in love with the building. And the rest, the rest is kind of history.”
Stage says the third time was the charm for bringing the Syracuse-based restaurant to Buffalo. He had tried two other times to bring Dinosaur Bar-B-Que to the Queen City.
This is the restaurant’s eighth location. It officially opens for business at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
