A pastor facing charges he sexually abused three children is now facing additional charges of possessing an illegal firearm.
Reverend Roy Harriger was in court Monday to plead not guilty to charges of incest, sodomy and course of sexual conduct against a child.
At least 15 people in three states have signed affidavits claiming 70-year-old Harriger molested them as children. But many of those cases are past the statute of limitations. However, a grand jury recently found enough evidence to indict Harriger on charges relating to three children.
After pleading not guilty, Harriger was taken to the State Police station in Albion and charged with criminal possession of a firearm.
Troopers say Harriger had an unregistered revolver at his home last November when he was placed under arrest, and that Harriger did not have a valid permit for the weapon.
