Driver allegedly carried brass knuckles, bag of pot

BUFFALO, N.Y.(WIVB)- Police report finding brass knuckles and a bag of marijuana during a traffic stop in Brant on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation. New York State Police say 20-year-old Mark Swantek was stopped for speeding on Versailles Plank Road.

Troopers say he told them he did not have a license. Troopers say he had the brass knuckles in his pocket and five grams of pot in a plastic baggy in his car.

He was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana. He is due in Brant Town Court later this month.
