BUFFALO, N.Y.(WIVB)- Two Newfane residents are facing serious charges after being stopped on Buffalo’s west side on Wednesday. State Police stopped 30-year-old Ryan Finch’s vehicle for loud exhaust and not having a passenger side mirror.

The vehicle was stopped on Niagara Street at Fargo. Troopers say Finch was driving with a suspended license. When they searched his vehicle, they say they found drug paraphernalia with heroin residue and a switchblade. He and his passenger, 50-year-old Kristal Prica, were both arrested.

Finch and Prica were both charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Finch was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon and vehicle and traffic violations. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
