Bank bandit robs third bank in WNY

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) – A man wanted in connection to bank robberies in Tonawanda and Cheektowaga hit the First Niagara Bank in Orchard Park on Friday.

Police say the suspect, a white man around 6′ tall and 180 pounds, entered the bank on Amelia Drive in the Quaker Cross Plaza around 2:45 p.m. and demanded money. He fled the scene on foot.

Authorities say he may be driving a 1998-2002 Mercury Grand Maruis with a missing front passenger hubcap and front grill:
