UB dining center to host Valentine’s Day meal

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB)- Love is in the air and four-course meals will be on the tables at the University at Buffalo, this Valentine’s Day. The Crossroads Culinary Center is hosting a special dinner for the holiday from 5 to 8:30 p.m. on the North Campus.

The tables will be decked out in linens, flowers and candles. There were also be two violinists on hand to serenade patrons.

The dinner costs a second meal swipe from a student’s meal plan or $29 if paying with cash or credit. Reservations can be made for the 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. seatings at 716-645-FOOD.

The menu is below:

Appetizer: Roasted Garlic Bruschetta

Salad: Fresh Mixed-Greens with Italian dressing

Entrée: Grilled Petite Filet served with grilled asparagus, baked sweet potato with honey butter and a cheesy cheddar biscuit


Vegetarian Stuffed Portabella Mushroom with grilled asparagus

Dessert: Molten Lava Cake served with vanilla ice cream and chocolate drizzle
