WARSAW, N.Y. (WIVB) – When deputies in Wyoming County pulled up to a vehicle on a dead-end road, they watched as the driver and passenger attempted to trade places to avoid getting in trouble.

Deputies say they saw 28-year-old Roger Miller, a man who familiar to them whose license was suspended last December, driving on Dale Road in Warsaw last Thursday. They followed the vehicle to a dead-end section of Ryan Road, and when they pulled up to it, deputies say 23-year-old Nicole Granger was trying to switch seats with her boyfriend so he wouldn’t get in trouble.

Miller was charged with third degree aggravated unlicensed operation and Granger was charged with third degree facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation.

Both are due in court next month.
