That increase of people combined with warming temperatures this week have caused large cracks to form, and water is now covering the ice in some areas.

The caves have now been closed off due to safety concerns. Bullet News reports if the caves do not deteriorate from the forecasted warmer weather, bulldozers will be brought in to knock them down. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
