BUFFALO, N.Y.(WIVB)- A 21-year-old man was stabbed with a machete late Monday night in South Buffalo. Police have arrested two men and two women in connection to the incident.

Police say at least four people forcibly entered an apartment on South Park Avenue around 11:30 p.m. Monday. Detectives say one of the people stabbed the 21-year-old with a machete during the incident. The suspects fled the scene and were arrested a short time later, according to police.

The suspects are charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and trespassing.

Police believe the victim in the incident was targeted by the suspects.  The victim was taken to Buffalo Mercy Hospital, where he was treated and released.
