Second suspect in restaurant armed robbery captured

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – US Marshals took a suspect wanted in connection with the armed robbery of a restaurant in Dunkirk into custody on Tuesday.

On January 23, two men robbed the Alma Latina Mex Restaurant on Cliffstar Drive. Around two weeks later, Dunkirk Police arrested 24-year-old Jhensen Sanchez and charged him with two counts of first degree robbery. But his alleged accomplice remained at large.

On Tuesday, US Marshals took 33-year-old Santos Martinez into custody in Buffalo. He is also being charged with two counts of first degree robbery.
