Students use art to help children in Kenya

BOWLS

EAST AURORA, N.Y. (WIVB) – News 4 is showcasing a local school which is using art to help children half a world away.  Students from pre-k through 12th grade in the Iroquois school district have designed and hand-painted bowls to benefit needy children in Africa.

The dishes will be sold during a special event March 2nd, at the Elm Street Bakery in East Aurora.

All proceeds will go to the Crossroads Springs Institute, to help feed and educate orphaned children in Kenya.
