Deputies: man used credit card stolen in burglary

FREDONIA, N.Y. (WIVB) – A man who allegedly used a credit card that was stolen during a burglary has been taken into custody.

Deputies say on February 3, someone broke into a home on Fuller Road in the Town of Portland, and a credit card was among the items stolen. That same day, 27-year-old Bryan Postolowski allegedly took that stolen credit card to the Walmart in Fredonia and used it.

At this time, Postolowski is only facing charges of fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property. But the investigation into the burglary continues.

After being arraigned on Tuesday, he was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail on $15,000 bail. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
