A South Dayton man is accused of driving at 101 mph, and then leading Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Deputies on a high-speed pursuit. The sheriff’s office says 35-year-old Dale A. Sandy led a pursuit last week through the Village of South Dayton and into Chautauqua County, before being stopped in the Town of Hanover.

Officials say he was stopped on Route 39, where he was arrested. Sandy was charged with DWI, DWI over .08 percent, reckless driving, unlawful fleeing of a police officer, speed over 55 mph, speed in zone, and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
