Marrone wants more out of O-Line

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WIVB) – One of the areas the Bills could target in this year’s draft is the offensive line.

Bills Head Coach Doug Marrone, speaking at the NFL Combine today, said he’s very pleased with left tackle Cordy Glenn and center Eric Wood. Still, he would like to see more from the line as a whole.

“I think there’s a lot of room for improvement. Even with Eric and Cordy at tackle. It’s a position that we’re looking to get better play at,” said Marrone.

It is also a position with multiple prospects that could be on the board with the #9 overall selection – including Texas A&M’s Jake Matthews and Auburn’s Greg Robinson.

“We ran the ball well, but I consider running the ball well is when you want to run it, you can impose your will and run it. There were times that we’ve gotten stopped, so we’ll have to do a better job there,” said Marrone.

Drafting one of those two, certainly could help fix that problem. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
