Woodlawn apartment fire

BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) – The Red Cross is assisting seven adults following a 2-alarm apartment fire on Woodlawn Ave. in Buffalo.

Buffalo firefighters responded just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday to an apartment fire that started on the second floor and extended to the first.

Everyone did get out of the building but division Fire Chief Patrick Britzzalaro said there are reports of people being burned.  Britzzalaro also told News 4 that the weather conditions made it hard to fight this fire.

Total damages are estimated at $240,000 and the cause is under investigation.
