Loud muffler leads to DWI charges

CHERRY CREEK, N.Y. (WIVB) – Troopers say a woman driving a car with a loud muffler was drunk and had a revoked license.

State Police pulled Alisha Scinta of South Dayton over on Rt. 83 in the Village of Cherry Creek around 10 p.m. on Sunday for having an inadquate exhaust system. Troopers say the 43-year-old had a revoked license and appeared to be intoxicated.

Scinta reportedly failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of .12 percent.

She was arrested for DWI.
