Pair accused of selling pot in Orleans County

ALBION, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force arrested two men last Thursday on charges of selling marijuana in the Village of Albion.

Cody Stymus, 20, and Samuel Remley, 20, were pulled over while in a vehicle on West Avenue. Meanwhile, officers searched a home on Herrick Street.

In all, authorities say they found more than three ounces of marijuana, $1,400 in cash, a shotgun, scales, packaging materials and other drug paraphernalia.

Both Stymus and Remley are charged with third degree criminal sale of marijuana and fifth degree criminal possession of marijuana. Stymus is additionally charged with two counts of fourth degree criminal sale of marijuana.

Remley was locked up on $1,000 bail in the Orleans County Jail, while Stymus was locked up for double that amount. Both are due in court February 25.
