POMFRET, N.Y. (WIVB) – A man who police say didn’t slow down or move over for an emergency vehicle was also allegedly driving drunk.

Troopers pulled over 21-year-old Javier Medinia Reyes on Rt. 60 in the Town of Pomfret around 1:40 a.m. on Sunday for failing to slow down or move over for an emergency vehicle. State Police say the Florida man was intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests. His BAC was reportedly .12 percent.

Reyes was arrested and charged with DWI, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and violating the Move Over Law.
