Woman robs Five Star Bank in Batavia

BATAVIA, N.Y. (WIVB) – Police in the City of Batavia are looking for a woman who robbed the Five Star Bank on Main Street Monday afternoon.

Authorities say the suspect, described as a white female in her mid-20s around 5’7″ with a slim build, entered the bank shortly after 2 p.m. and handed the teller a note demanding cash. The note indicated the woman had a gun, though no weapon was displayed.

The suspect fled the bank on foot. She reportedly had a large, bright pink color tattoo of a butterfly on the left side of her neck.
